About Davids Cookies
David Liederman is the founder of David's Cookies. He was a trained French chef who had a great love for cookies and other baked products. He only uses pure and natural ingredients such as pure vanilla, butter, Swiss chocolate, and whole nuts. He made Chocolate Chunk cookie and presented it in his first David’s Cookies store in Manhattan, founded in 1979. It is declared the Best Chocolate Chunk Cookie and won the NY Newsday Award for its delicious taste.
It was the time great success he created a huge chain of his store. In Manhattan alone 25 David's Cookies stores, 75 in the New York area and over 150 more stores around the globe.
Later Fairfield Gourmet Foods Corp purchased this company. After its fall it revived by presenting the now-classic Chocolate Chunk cookie and the many other flavors of frozen cookie.
